Understanding a low or zero confidence score

An answer shows a low or zero score? It's usually a missing-evidence issue. Here's how to improve it.

An answer shows a low, or even zero, confidence score? It's not a bug: the score reflects the level of available evidence.

Why a low score?

  • No evidence could be linked to the answer.
  • The relevant document is missing from your base or directory.
  • The existing evidence is outdated or incomplete.

How to improve it

  1. Open the Evidence Builder to link valid evidence to the answer.
  2. Import the missing document into the right directory.
  3. Run the Gap Analysis to pinpoint exactly what's missing.
